Had a relaxing few days at Glenfruin Lodge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, love the wood burning stove !
Had a walk down to Duck Bay and back on our second day - It was farther than we first thought !
Sore legs and hips for two days, The Lodge offered everything we needed and we were warmly welcomed by Alison.
We look forward to visiting again when we are next in the area.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful part of the country.  thanks for a beautifully appointed cottage.

For December I think we've been really lucky with the weather and have been able to get out and explore the region.

Thanks for having us!

Crosskeys Cottage was a great base for Loch Lomond. Cosy and inviting.
Despite raining all week we managed to get out every day.
Owners very accommodating and welcoming.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

Thanks

Had a great week here at Glenfruin Lodge.
Enjoyed seeing the birds and pheasants in the garden.
Heard the owls on a few nights, took day trips to Luss, Balloch Country Park, Loch Lomond shore including the Bird of Prey Centre and Sea life. Had a good few hours at the RSPB Centre and spotted a Red Squirrel, Tree creepers,Buzzards and Kites and Deer. Trip out on Loch Lomond on a lovely sunny day was great too. Final day was spent at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and around the various lochs. Overall a great week away.

What a great little Cottage ! (Glenfruin Lodge) We really enjoyed our stay. Spent most of our time exploring the area and visiting wedding venues. Had a very tasty meal at Cucina in Balloch one evening - thanks for the recommendation.
Highlight was seeing the Red Squirrels in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, which had eluded us on our last trip this way.
Thanks for a lovely stay hope to be back soon.

Another wonderful week spent at Crosskeys Lodge.  As before we combined walking and catching up with family (and even managed to get some work done..).  Enjoyed the variety of walks to Criagendorran area and around the Loch.  Becoming familiar with the John Muir Way and Three Lochs Way.  Disappointed that the sea plane trip on the Loch was cancelled but we'll do it next time.

Look forward to our next visit, Allison & Rob Noel (North Yorkshire)
