Lovely cottage (Glenfruin Lodge), very comfortable and well placed for visiting the areas around it.

Enjoyed a speedboat trip on the Loch and a drive to Inveraray.

Many thanks to our hosts.

We have had a lovely stay at Crosskeys cottage, enjoying a warm and cosy cottage.  Highlights of our week have been Glenarn Gardens in Rhu, the Ardkinglas Gardens and the beautiful village of Luss.  Also not to be missed is the climb up Conic Hill, a visit to Inchcailloch island at Balmaha and a walk around the peninsula at Ardmore.

Thanks Alison for your recommendations, nothing disappointed.

Perfect cottage stay for our week in the area.  We enjoyed some relaxing walks and local restaurants.
Will look at Glenfruin Lodge again when we come back to do the big hills!

Thank you Alison & Craig for a really wonderful stay at Crosskeys cottage.  This wee cottage was perfect, very well equipped and very comfortable.  We had wonderful weather all week and couldn't have wished for a better part of the world to stay in.

Thanks to your tips Alison, we went to Luss, Loch Katerine, Oban, Loch Awe and Conic Hill (love a smaller walk with great views!).  The dog loved the outdoor space too.

Best of luck with all the summer ahead and hopefully see you again!

We've had such a lovely week staying at this beautiful cottage.  Such a comfortable place to stay with everything so tastefully decorated and equipped with all you could possibly need... and more!

We visited Loch Lomond, Luss and Arrochar; took a train trip on the West Highland Line to Oban (stunning scenery) and had a great fish lunch; but the highlight was going to Inverary on the loveliest sunny day and climbing the hill to the folly at the top - the views were breath taking and the bluebells throughout the woodlands beautiful.

We will definitely recommend this lovely place!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, well appointed cottage.  We knew the area and it was good to re-acquaint ourselves with Helensburgh, Loch Lomond etc..  All-in-all a very enjoyable week in this quiet spot.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenfruin Lodge.  I grew up in Helensburgh and so know the area well.  We managed much of both the Three Lochs Way and also the John Muir Way (could walk to my parents via different routes).

The many birds in the garden entertained us.  Feeling rested and ready to return south of the border.

We had a fantastic stay at Crosskeys Cottage.  We were originally due to come over Christmas but of course Covid made sure that got cancelled.  Craig & Alison were very accommodating in moving our dates.

We lucked out with the weather as it was forecast to be a washout but we got beautiful sunshine all week (the odd shower didn't count).

We will definitely be booking to stay here again!

A much needed break away after what has been a very difficult time for the whole world.

Crosskeys Cottage very comfortable, warm and Craig & Alison have thought a lot about what their guests need.

The weather was not kind and we had a mixture of sun, hail & snow!

Enjoyed visiting Luss, Inverary and a selection of gardens.  Met up with friends in Arrochar.

This whole area has lots to offer and explore.  Thank You.

At last we can travel!  3 nights here on route to northern highlands.  Crosskeys Cottage is a very well appointed cosy cottage, well placed to visit the area - Balloch and Luss lovely.

Covid is still casting its shadow, but the friendliness and welcome here has been fab.

We hope that life will get back to normal, and once again we can enjoy a life without '2metres' and masks.

Stay safe, and enjoy this wonderful cottage.
