From the moment we opened the door we knew it was perfect!  We spent our time here totally chilled, so relaxing it was like home from home.

Alison & Craig made us feel very welcome, thank you!

We had a fantastic time at Crosskeys Cottage.  The cottage is so cosy and perfect for a getaway.

We highly recommend Ben Lomond - the views are fantastic, but be prepared for a long walk! 11 miles there and back...
Conic Hill is a shorter walk with beautiful views.

Thanks again for a lovely stay!  Hope to stay with you again in the future.

We loved our stay! Beautifully clean, modern yet cosy and the most comfortable bed. A great base for exploring Loch Lomond and we loved spending our evenings relaxing in the cottage. We look forward to staying again soon!

Wow, what a lovely, warm, cosy cottage (Glenfruin Lodge).  A fantastic week away and the weather was dry and bright all week.  Going home very relaxed.

Thank you Alison for a very warm welcome.

Crosskeys Cottage has been perfectly well equipped.  We had some great days and lovely sunshine.

Highlights were - Ben Lomond, sea lochs & Inverary, seafood at Loch Fyne, walking in the Trossachs and beautiful scenery.

Had a lovely time here at Glenfruin Lodge, enjoyed seeing the pheasant most mornings and had fun making fires (in the woodburner).  Lots of walks, only one day of rain but the waterfalls around Callander were spectacular after the rain.

We enjoyed our stay at Crosskeys Cottage and Loch Lomond very much and had mostly good weather.

We enjoyed visiting 'the Kelpies' at Falkirk and the waterfalls at Callander are a good visit and the shops were interesting.  Unfortunately the toy museum was closed but the shop is worth a visit.

We walked to the ruin point at Loch Katrine which is 2 miles there and 2 miles back and well worth it.  The boat trip on the Loch is also good.  The steamer is not going as there is a problem with the a boiler at the moment.

Hamish (our jack russell) enjoyed all his walks and swam in several Lochs.  So a good time had by all!

Thank you Alison & Craig for a wonderful stay.  Crosskeys Cottage is just 'perfect'.  Beautifully equipped and lovely decoration and furnishings.  Everything we needed and very cosy.

Fantastic scenery and many wonderful places to visit.  We enjoyed Luss, Balmaha, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpie.  The Hill House in Helensburgh is well worth a visit along with a stroll along the promenade.

All in all a brilliant week!

Our first trip across the border to Scotland, Glenfruin Lodge was a lovely cottage close to many historic locations, beautiful walks and drives through the scottish countryside.  It was lovely chatting to Alison about the history of the cottages.  Would recommend visiting the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel and the Bracklinn Falls in Callander.

Thank you both, Lisa and Kevin, Sittingbourne, Kent
