We have had an amazing time at Crosskeys. The Cottage is very cosy and comfortable and very well equipped.
It has been the perfect base for exploring this beautiful place.
We had a truly awesome road trip to Inverness on Tuesday, taking in the breath taking scenery of Glen Coe, Loch Ness and the many other sights the drive provided.
Afternoon tea at the Winnock Hotel in Drymen was delicious, followed by a drive to Balmaha. We found The Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship in Glasgow a real fascinating experience, also The People’s Palace, Glasgow Cathedral and surrounding architecture, well worth a visit.
Thanks for a perfect holiday,
Christine and Mark.
The World’s first and only rotating boat lift. Completed in 2002 the huge Falkirk wheel re-connects the Fourth & Clyde and Union canals after the 11 original lock gates were dismantled in the 1930’s. Also an opportunity to visit the famous Kelpieshttps://www.scottishcanals.co.uk/falkirk-wheel/
