Dear Alison & Craig, it is the first time in Scotland and certainly not the last time. We love it, it’s a beautiful country.
We enjoyed our stay in your cosy cottage (Crosskeys Cottage). It was nice to come home after a day enjoying the surroundings.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
