Grandparents & father lived in Crosskeys from the late 1800’s until the early 1920’s
We visited family in the area, the weather was glorious close to the wonderful sight of Loch Lomond, Luss and Balloch.We have stayed here before and would again – Highly recommend.

Inveraray – Day tripA marvellous day out, Inveraray is on the western bank of Loch Fyne north of Arrochar beyond the ‘Rest and be Thankful’. Inveraray Castle was used in the series Downton Abbey for a ChristmasSpecial. Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
