We’ve had a lovely week at Glenfruin Lodge. The Lodge is beautiful and very well equipped. The fire and whirlpool bath were both lovely added bonuses!
We visited Balloch and took a boat tour around the loch. Luss is worth a visit as it is a beautiful place and there are some lovely walks.
Inverary is a lovely place for a day trip – the scenery on the way is breathtaking. The castle and jail in the town are also worth the money.

Inveraray – Day tripA marvellous day out, Inveraray is on the western bank of Loch Fyne north of Arrochar beyond the ‘Rest and be Thankful’. Inveraray Castle was used in the series Downton Abbey for a ChristmasSpecial.
