Lovely cosy lodge – amazing to have a wood burning stove and whirpool bath in one place!!

Really enjoyed our stay (went too quick though) – would recommend Loch Katrine very remote and beautiful.  For food and good ale go to the pub (Loch Lomond Arms) in Luss – try the Haggis dish and sticky toffee pudding plus a few whiskies!

Thanks for a lovely stay.  See you again hopefully.

Auchendrain museum – just south of Inveraray

The preserved buildings from the 1700s give an authentic insight into how people lived and worked in the north and west of Scotland. You can wander freely around the houses and farm buildings furnished with everyday objects from time gone by.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
