Another fantastic week here, couldn’t ask for anything better.
Had a trip to Oban for the best fish and chips from a place on George street recommended by Rick Stein.
Went through to Edinburgh and visited the Botanic Gardens. As usual enjoyed some Highland Games.
Found a lovely cafe called 1830 Eatery in Gourock newly opened and excellent with home made cake.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
