We have had a lovely time and wish we could have stayed longer. Despite not having the best weather
we really enjoyed our boat trip on Loch Lomond. The Falkirk Wheel was well worth a slightly longer drive
and good fun.
The Lodge has been perfect for us with everything we could possibly need and a delight to stay in.

Inveraray – Day tripA marvellous day out, Inveraray is on the western bank of Loch Fyne north of Arrochar beyond the ‘Rest and be Thankful’. Inveraray Castle was used in the series Downton Abbey for a ChristmasSpecial. Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
