Good base for travelling around, visited Edinburgh botanical gardens,
Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel, all great visits.
Enjoyed a 2 hour boat trip on Loch Lomond and travelling around sights.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
