What a lovely week we’ve had! Crosskeys Cottage is delightful, comfortable and a well-equipped cottage, so convenient for the loch.
Luss is lovely – and a great swim spot – I’ve really enjoyed the surprisingly warm water.
We visited the magnificent Kelpies (nr Grangemouth) and the impressive Stirling Castle, looked over the Falls of Falloch and walked through the woodlands at Crianlarich. The cruise around the loch was lovely, and the short walk along the West Highland Way from Balmaha to Milarochy was glorious – with a sunny swim from one of the beaches there. We’ve had fantastic weather and the view from Beinn Dubh (Luss) was worth the aching legs!!
Balloch Castle Park is also worth walking round, with coffee and cake from the slipway kiosk.
Thank you for letting us use your lovely cottage.
