Having lived for several years in an old (and cold) farm cottage in this area, we can appreciate the effort that must have gone into making Crosskeys Cottage the lovely wee house it now is.  A great base for visiting old friends.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles.
