How lucky we were to have chosen Glenfruin Lodge!  It was our first visit to Scotland but certainly not the last.

Enjoyed very much walking right behind the house in the direction of Garelochead – although we took a turn to the left and ended up at the Marina in Rhu (nice little Café!).  The Glen Loin Loop starting at Arrochar was great, the view from Benn Dubh (from Luss) worth all the tears I cried while climbing up it.. and Loch Katrine’s shore way for a bicycle ride was fantastic.

Thanks to Alison & Craig for this lovely cottage.  We’ll certainly be back one day.
