What a great time we’ve had! There has been great walks and views.
We recommend the Cattle & Creel in Helensburgh for great Steak, Mussels and Oysters. Sadly Duck Bay is not what it was – the food was poor and I’d avoid it.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles. Inveraray – Day tripA marvellous day out, Inveraray is on the western bank of Loch Fyne north of Arrochar beyond the ‘Rest and be Thankful’. Inveraray Castle was used in the series Downton Abbey for a ChristmasSpecial. The preserved buildings from the 1700s give an authentic insight into how people lived and worked in the north and west of Scotland. You can wander freely around the houses and farm buildings furnished with everyday objects from time gone by.
