At last we can travel! 3 nights here on route to northern highlands. Crosskeys Cottage is a very well appointed cosy cottage, well placed to visit the area – Balloch and Luss lovely.
Covid is still casting its shadow, but the friendliness and welcome here has been fab.
We hope that life will get back to normal, and once again we can enjoy a life without ‘2metres’ and masks.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a revolutionary architect and designer and The Hill House is considered to be his domestic masterpiece. Mackintosh and his wife Margaret created almost everything, from the building itself to the furniture and textiles. The preserved buildings from the 1700s give an authentic insight into how people lived and worked in the north and west of Scotland. You can wander freely around the houses and farm buildings furnished with everyday objects from time gone by.
