We loved our stay at Craig and Alison’s cottage – a lovely place in such peaceful surroundings, in the perfect location for exploring in all directions around Loch Lomond. The cottage was very clean and modern, with the most amazing jacuzzi bath! The perfect base for our amazing staycation – would highly recommend!

We have been on the hunt for our perfect Loch Lomond hidey hole since we outgrew our last one after our daughter was born : -and I think we have found it.

Our stay in the Lodge has been incredible, cosey, idylic and family friendly!
I’d recommend the John Muir Way walk from Crosskeys to Balloch, simply stunning and no rambling !!

We cant wait to head back up and hopefully we get the chance to build more snowmen !

Grateful for our wonderful & generous hosts – Craig & Alison , the Tunnocks were lovely !

Thank you for a warm welcome on our arrival.
The Cottage is beautiful & very well thought out with little touches and has given me some inspiration for our cottage in Lancashire!
We have had a wonderful Christmas get away and would definitely come again.

Thank you for the Christmas gifts and card, it was such a thoughtful thing!
We have left you a thank you gift on the table…

Thank you once again!

Cosy, warm cottage. Great base for lots of exploring from a comfortable, beautifully furnished cottage. Criag and Alison gave us some good advice on where to go and there were wallk directions supplied in the cottage. Good base for Loch Lomond, Helensburgh and around Loch Long.

A lovely wild & frosty week with a dusting of snow. Lots of lovely (steep!) walks and good lunches.
Walked the hills above Luss, beautiful views, hill behind Helensburgh, muddy but superb views when we got there. Highlight was a walk up to the Folly from Inveraray Castle, lovely views over Loch Fyne and we loved Inveraray. Had a great lunch in Brambles Cafe in the main street as they take dogs.

Thank you for a great week.

We have loved staying at The Lodge. We had everything we needed & felt at home.
Can recommend Mira Mare in Helensburgh if you fancy Italian food !
Hope to be back again next time we are up again in Scotland.
