Crosskeys Cottage is an amazing little cottage, lovely and clean. The area is a fantastic location to explore the local area and shops. The hosts Craig and Allison are extremely friendly and helpful, I will be looking to book again next year.

What a fantastic little Cottage, Crosskeys is. Everything you could want and need is here.
The surrounding area is outstanding. Helensburgh nearby handy for all your shopping needs and lovely meals at the Commodore on the sea front.
We visited Inveraray and could not believe the scenery at every bend in the road, breathtaking !!
We went to Fort William and on to Ben Nevis, managed to walk/climb to point A only brilliant though.
We did The Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies, all well worth the visit.
A trip on Loch Lomond from Luss was fab and the village is fantastic, Balmaha was lovely, could spend all day driving around and to come back here each evening was lovely.
Thank you so much
Beautiful little cottage. Everything you need supplied apart from food and drink, there was a pint of fresh milk in the fridge which was a welcome bonus, Washing machine really useful but no washing line to hang it out, but pegs supplied under sink though. It has its own dedicated wifi, which works a treat, The cottage is next to a small roundabout and you could just hear the traffic in and out but didn’t detract from the cottage. Grassed area where you can sit and round the side a barbecue and small area with table and chairs. Would we consider booking again? Definitely

Lovely little cottage in a perfect location! It’s only a short drive into Helensburgh or Balloch where you’ll find everything you need and lots to do. There are also great restaurants nearby, especially duck bay! Alison & Craig were great hosts, really helpful, accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. The cottage was also full equipped for dogs with water bowl, towels and an enclosed garden. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much Craig & Alison !
We had the most wonderful time exploring Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Fort William, Oban and Mull.
Even though I have lived in the UK most of my life, travelling up to Scotland to explore this area has been a dream, it is so beautiful.
Thank you for being wonderful hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Crosskeys Cottage. The cottage is beautifully equipped with great décor. The week was mixed re weather, but we got out and enjoyed and explored the area.

We particularly enjoyed ice cream on the promenade at Dinos in Helensburgh (a bargain at £2.00 for a cone).
We did an amazing (but long) day to the Isle of Mull. It was stunning, beautiful, dramatic and empty (for August). It is a long drive (70 miles) to Oban, but it’s definitely worth it.

We went to Balmaha (on Craig’s recommendation) and walked up Conic Hill. It’s a hard steep walk up, about 1 hour, but the views of Loch Lomond from the top are amazing. Great coffee at the St Mocha coffee shop and ice cream parlour in Balmaha.

On a rainy day we went into Glasgow on the train from Helensburgh. It’s cheap and did the Modern Art Museum, Cathedral and Brewdog Bar in the Merchant City. It’s only 45 mins on the train.

Walked up Tom na h-Airdh just outside Helensburgh and the Balloch loop walk up Whinny Hill. Beautiful and no one about.

Thank you Craig & Alison for a fantastic stay and thank you Scotland!!

We have had a wonderful week in Glenfruin Lodge. Everything was perfect and Alison & Craig were very welcoming – it is a great base to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. We ad an amazing time kayaking on Loch Lomond from Luss, and enjoyed many walks, including the Loch Ard Sculpture trail, THE Ardess History trail, The Dear Hill and
Fairy Knowe trail in Aberfoyle, as well as climbing Ben Lomond- hard work but worth it for the beautiful views.
We had a lovely meal at The Oak Tree Inn …. Balmaha and the Boathouse Restaurant Cameron House by Loch Lomond.
We have had a fantastic holiday and hope to return again soon.
Thank you !
