We have enjoyed a lovely few days at Glenfruin Lodge, an excellent base for exploring Loch Lomond and the area. The Lodge is very comfortable and well equipped, we have enjoyed exploring by day and returning to the extra delight of the log burner.
We look forward to returning again in warmer times.

“Fabulous, low-key, but characterful charm. The owners were right next door, never in our space but reassuringly there. They were relaxed about us having a dog, but we would always be respectful when in other people’s property. Loch Lomond is on the doorstep with all that amazing beauty. But special for me was seeing the Charles Rennie Macintosh’s designed house….Hill House on the outskirts of Helensburgh. All in all l would not hesitate in recommending this property to any of our nearest and dearest. Thankyou Alison for looking after us.”

Another splendid stay at Glenfruin Lodge, a cottage we really enjoy staying in. Well equipped, lovely and warm when we arrived to damp weather. We have been very fortunate with the weather, some nice sunny days from Monday onwards. We experienced the first frosts of the autumn. The higher hills being capped with snow on the thursday night. Enjoyed tasty evening meals down at Duck Bay (good sirloin steak).
Wonderful autumn colours all around. Recommend the thistle shopping centre in Stirling.
Many thanks to Alison & Craig for their hospitality. All being well we hope to be back next autumn.

Crosskeys Cottage is a fantastic, cosy little home from home, very comfortable and well placed for lots of adventures out. Our highlight was Hill House in Helensburgh, but I expect most people come here for the scenery which is AMAZING! It was only a short passing through 2 day stay, but very enjoyable.
Every time we come to Scotland I take a little piece home with me, we’ll be back for sure!

Thank you for a lovely stay! We loved Glenfruin Lodge and really enjoyed our stay.
Glencoe and Glen Etive were a highlight. The highlands are stunning and blew our minds! We also enjoyed the 3 Lochs forest drive just off the Duke’s Pass (near Aberfoyle).
We hope to stay with you again.

Spent a very comfortable few days here at Glenfruin Lodge – an ideal and convenient base to explore this area.
Highlights of the trip were the walks up Conic Hill and Ben A’an – the hard work rewarded by amazing views.
We found that nearby Helensburgh was able to provide everything we needed as well as being a pleasant place to stroll around.

A week of bliss just chillin… hectic work life. Glenfruin Lodge was lovely. Would recommend ‘La Barca’ restaurant in Helensburgh for lunch, but plenty of eating options round about.
The coast drive through Rhu past the sea lochs is worth it.
Hope to come back, Mr & Mrs Aitken, Dalrympe, Ayrshire
