First impression of Glenfruin Lodge/Cottage when we opened the door WOW! Straight away it felt like home, but on a grander scale.
Had a lovely visit to Luss. Went to see the waterfall at Falloch.
Fabulous time at Alexandria visiting Totally Tartan Kilt Makers, researching my ancesters clan. Whilst no official tartan, I can wear Buchanan (Baxter) which are considered dependents of the Clan MacMillan.
Great day out at Inverarary. We took the scenic route along the clyde. On Craig’s recommendation we had fish and chips in Tyndrum. However the fish & chip shop is inside the ‘Real Food Cafe’, as it is not obvious.

Great host, great location. Hope to come back soon.

Inveraray Castle is well worth a visit as was Hill House in Helensburgh and Luss Village.

Thank you for having us to share this super cottage.

Thank you Alison and Craig for a wonderful stay in Glenfruin Lodge. It was so cosy and comfortable with everything we needed to make our stay special. We enjoyed our trips to Oban, Inverary and Balloch with a special mention to Auchindrian (historical scottish hamlet) – well worth a visit.

Thank you so much Craig & Alison, for a lovely stay at Crosskeys Cottage. It is really very cosy, beautifully equipped and decor natural. The Cottage is ideally situated for getting around and we have really enjoyed our stay despite rain showers most of the week. Everything you need to feel at home – we are so relaxed.

Your countryside is marvelous. We loved Hill House in Helensburgh, Conic Hill at Balmaha, Inversnaid waterfall, Luss Village, Inverary Castle, three sisters of Glencoe, the West Highland Railway line and Portencross & Largs.

Best Wishes
